PORTLAND - Reed College Zine Fair - James Spooner Key Note speaker
Reed Zine Fest is the first zine fest organized by the Reed College Library to celebrate independent publishing, DIY and zine making. This one day festival will feature both local community and Reedie zinesters, zine workshops, and keynote by special guest James Spooner .

About the event
The fest includes a day with dozens of zine creators, tours, and workshops celebrating self-publishing, self-expression, and DIY culture. Award-winning author James Spooner will be kicking off the event with a keynote about his experience as a Black punk navigating the scene and finding his voice.
